Breakfast:Is served in a separate dining room furnished with antiques and with stained glass windows to the rear. The dining room overlooks the Edwardian rock garden to the front. Full breakfast is of course included in the tariffs shown below.Parking:Guests are welcome to use the off-road parking available for 3 cars behind the house and there is also ample parking within the village. Bicycles can be securely locked away.Tariff:The rooms are available for £29 per person per night (pppn) For visitors wishing to stay for 7 nights or more we can offer a reduction to £27 pppn.(double occupancy only) Single occupancy rate is £35 pppn.Payment is by cash or cheque only. Heather Cottage Guest House is set in Aysgarth and offers superb bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The former Edwardian country gentleman's residence overlooks beautiful Wensleydale and out towards Lady Hill. The house offers 2 fully en-suite Bed and Breakfast (B&B) rooms arranged for your comfort and convenience. Rooms are equipped with TV, DVD player, Tea and coffee making facilities with fridge to keep your drinks cool. There is a selection of freely available DVD films and CD music discs for your entertainment. Full of interesting antiques, the halls are oak panelled with oak floors and stained glass windows in the the fashion of the arts and crafts period.We have endeavoured to retain the character of the house and combine its original features with modern amenities. The house is a perfect base from which to walk or cycle the Yorkshire Dales and is a short stroll from the famous Aysgarth Falls. Aysgarth is on the Herriot Way, the Bowland-Dales Traverse and is close to the Pennine way. . |
