The Wheatsheaf

The Wheatsheaf is steeped in history stretching as far back as the 17th Century. This Coaching Inn was extended in the 1800s to include a Blacksmiths shop and stables, now being utilised as the dining room. One of the upstairs rooms was used as a court house to the Ewercross district. It is where the J.Ps met to renew the licenses for many of the Inns in the area.
