The Plough is ideally located for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland; walkers, cyclists, rock climbers, potholers, golfers and fishermen are all welcome. The Inn is within driving distance of Settle, Clitheroe and Skipton for those wanting to visit a typical market town; lots of country clothing shops, antique stalls and cafes.

There is a large secure car park for cars and motor cycles and bicycles can be stored in a locked shed.

The Plough also caters for weddings, parties and celebrations in the 50 seater conservatory which overlooks the lawns and the valley beyond.
