We are open all day everyday and serving food from 12-2:30pm and 6pm - 8:30pm. If you fancy a drive out on a Sunday - we also offer a fine Sunday Lunch. An open fire and warm welcome awaits you.

Walk through the door of The Farmers Arms in Muker of Swaledale and you will receive a warm friendly welcome. We are a traditional Yorkshire Dales pub, serving good homemade food and well-kept local ales. With an open fire and a stone flagged floor; muddy boots and well behaved dogs are welcome.

The pub changed ownership in December 2010 and is now owned and run by a young couple; Darren and Emily, who have moved from the next village of Thwaite. They are as passionate and enthusiastic about Swaledale and The Farmers Arms as their visitors, so for those who have visited The Farmers Arms pub in Muker before, dont worry, they are planning on changing much - if it aint broke, dont fix it! We also have a studio apartment to let - a cosy bolthole for two - opposite the pub, for those wishing to stay a bit longer.
