Tucked away in the beautiful village of Kettlewell in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a half hour drive from the town of Skipton, these cottages have built up quite a reputation for, not only their great location, but also the warm welcome and friendly hospitality of Barbara Lambert, her family and staff.
Barbara and her family have been running self-catering cottages since 1979, and, since then, the four holiday cottages have been created from the original stone farm barn, built some two hundred years ago. They are all tastefully furnished and have Freesat TV, DVD and video.
The self-catering holiday accommodation is within the village of Kettlewell, close to all local amenities which include three shops, three hotels with bars, giving a great local atmosphere, and the beautifully maintained church. Nearby, Skipton is home to one of the most complete and well preserved castles in England. Skipton has four street markets each week and in 2010 was awarded the title of Englands High Street of the Year.
The four holiday cottages - Cowslip, Coltsfoot, Clover and Buttercup - which cater from two to four people, are available for rent all year round, from Easter to October in week-long units and, during the winter months, short breaks and weekends.
